{"id":4139,"date":"2022-09-06T10:17:23","date_gmt":"2022-09-06T15:17:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.primefreight.com\/?p=4139"},"modified":"2022-09-06T10:17:28","modified_gmt":"2022-09-06T15:17:28","slug":"un-typhon-massif-perturbe-les-ports-et-les-aeroports-de-shanghai-ningbo-et-busan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.primefreight.com\/fr\/massive-typhoon-disrupts-ports-and-airports-in-shanghai-ningbo-and-busan\/","title":{"rendered":"Un typhon massif perturbe les ports et a\u00e9roports de Shanghai, Ningbo et Busan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/theloadstar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/dreamstime_xs_129855944-680x0-c-default.jpg\" alt=\"dreamstime_xs_129855944\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Typhoon Hinnamor has forced the ports of Shanghai, Ningbo and Busan to close, further disrupting shipping schedules from Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shanghai\u2019s container terminals and equipment yards were closed at 4pm yesterday \u201cuntil further notice\u201d, according to Norman Global Logistics (NGL).&nbsp;Ningbo\u2019s terminals closed on Friday, the forwarder added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thomas Gronen, head of Greater China at Fibs Logistics,&nbsp;told&nbsp;<em>The Loadstar<\/em>: \u201cWe haven\u2019t had any delay notices from the shipping lines, but we need to check the individual vessel status, case by case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBy Tuesday, we are expecting normal operations again and, generally, a two-day delay in departures.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added: \u201cPVG [Shanghai Pudong Airport] also cancelled most flights from yesterday, with normal operations to be expected, again, by Tuesday.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A representative of Dimerco said shipping schedules from Ningbo had already been under pressure from blank sailings, and now shippers faced further delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She explained: \u201cRecently, vessels were delayed or cancelled frequently [from Ningbo] due to lower freight rates on South-east Asia and certain US lanes, now the typhoon may further impact vessel schedules.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Maersk spokeswoman told&nbsp;<em>The Loadstar<\/em>: \u201cInbound pilot services in Shanghai and Ningbo ports have been suspended and all container vessels are asked to be evacuated.&nbsp;Busan and Kwangyang ports are closed as well. We\u2019re monitoring the development closely and preparing for vessel\/cargo contingency plans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, the \u201cmassive\u201d storm may have a greater impact on South Korea \u2013 according to reports, Typhoon Hinnamor has a radius \u201cbig enough to cover from Seoul to Busan\u201d and could be the most powerful in the country\u2019s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is expected to make landfall near the port city of Busan tomorrow morning, prompting flight cancellations and the suspension of some business operations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Typhoon Hinnamor has forced the ports of Shanghai, Ningbo and Busan to close, further disrupting shipping schedules from Asia.
