24 Oct Advisory for the Deep Depression in the East Central Bay of Bengal
We would like to inform you that the deep depression over East-Central Bay and adjoining area moved North-westwards and lay over the same area, about 780km South-Southwest of Chattogram Port, 715km South-Southwest of Cox’s Bazar Port, 730km South of Mongla Port, and 695km South of Payra Port. It is likely to intensify further into a Cyclonic storm and recurve initially Northwards.
Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal number three.
Rain/thunders accompanied by temporary S/SE’LY gusty/squally wind (45-60 KPH) is likely to occur over the regions of Jashore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Cumilla, Noakhali, Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar.
